Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in accounting.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree in accounting or related field is a plus).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (previous coursework or related experience is beneficial).
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, FreshBooks) is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Enter financial data into accounting software and ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax reporting.
- Help track expenses, invoices, and receipts to ensure proper documentation.
- Assist with basic budgeting and forecasting tasks.
