VAC CON MACHINE ASSEMBLER
The Assembler will assemble or install components as instructed using required hand tools and/or power tools. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials. This includes prepping chassis, installing frames, hosing, and sub-assemblies onto the unit using templates or reading measurements. Tests proper function of final product/units.
JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
Read line tickets to determine different systems (hydraulic & water) and determine their layouts and interaction on units.
Physically install truck components, sub-assemblies and hoses on units.
Clear up write ups from QA
Troubleshooting of unit issues during assembly.
Tests units for: pressure, blower speed, first mechanical write up inspection & lift inspection.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Manufacturing industry experience preferred
Certifications: none
Other required KSA (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): Understanding of the product and how the product is expected to preform by the end user. Understanding of mechanical engineering and metal fabrication. Limited knowledge of diesel engines and air systems. Proficient use of hand tool, pneumatic tool, and battery-operated tools. Knowledge of fabrication: Cutting and welding
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Working Environment: Indoor building not climate controlled, high heat during summer months.
Dirty and dusty environment.
Travel Requirements: None
Most work performed in steel structured industrial work space with 6 bay doors 14 ft. tall. And 20 ft. ceilings.
