Job Title: Automatic Door Tech
Job Summary: responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of automatic door systems, including sliding, swinging, revolving, and specialty access-controlled entrances. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to ensure doors operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of automatic door systems (sliding, swinging, revolving, folding, and access-controlled)
- 2+ years of experience in automatic door installation, service, or repair
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience with access control systems and low-voltage wiring preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
Experience Required:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience installing, servicing, or repairing automatic door systems
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage control systems
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and safety inspections on door systems
- Prior field service experience, including customer interaction and job documentation
- Experience using service management or dispatch software preferred
- Manufacturer or industry certifications preferred
