Job Summary:
CDL Class B drivers to deliver carpet and flooring products to commercial warehouses. If you are a Delivery Truck Driver who wants to be home for dinner every night, new equipment to drive, and a high-energy professional work environment, then apply today!
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 to 10 hours per day Equipment: 18’ and 28’ Penske Leased Box Trucks with lift gates
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid CDL.
- Possess a valid DOT Medical Certificate, minimum of 1-year.
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ CDL truck driving experience, and able to pass a road test.
- You must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Motor Vehicle Record and PSP must not have excessive safety violations.
- Ability to bump docks
- Experienced and physically able to operate hand trucks and manual pallet jacks.
- Must be customer service minded and professional.
- Must be hardworking, high energy, dependable, and a team player.
Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities:
- Arrive at the terminal on time and ready to work.
- Follow the scheduled route for daily deliveries.
- Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner.
- Collect signature or payment, if necessary, upon arrival to the recipient client
- Document overages, shortages, and damages to the freight.
- Inspect Equipment Daily and report issues per company policy.
- Keep the vehicle organized and clean.
- Serve as a brand ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
- Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
- Utilize technology per company policy, including dual facing cameras and company provided devices for paperless delivery.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $27.50 per hour to start, Weekly Pay, Direct Deposit
