Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC/R Technician to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC/R systems in various commercial buildings, with a focus on ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities:
– Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems.
– Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
– Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues using advanced problem-solving skills.
– Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
– Understand and apply electrical concepts related to HVAC systems.
– Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management.
– Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
– EPA Universal certification.
– Clean driving record for the past 5 years.
– Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
– High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
– Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Ability to work in confined spaces, on rooftops, and in various weather conditions.
