Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions to determine appropriate solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
- Work with clients to explain services performed, issues identified, and recommended solutions.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration.
- License: Massachusetts refrigeration or HVAC license preferred but not required.
- Certifications: EPA Certification required; additional certifications are a plus.
- Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC/refrigeration systems, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Soft Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a variety of commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
- Familiarity with energy-efficient and eco-friendly HVAC practices.
