Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex electrical design projects from initial concept through to manufacturing, testing, and installation.
- Utilize your expertise with variable frequency drives, servo drives, PLCs, HMIs, and more to execute and evaluate engineering designs.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to integrate electrical designs with other disciplines.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, startup, and troubleshooting of industrial control systems and networking devices.
- Drive innovation by exploring and integrating new technologies to enhance performance and ensure project success.
Experience Required:
- 10+ years in designing industrial control systems for industrial equipment.
- Facility design experience
- Proven experience with variable frequency drives, servo drives, PLCs, HMIs, industrial networking devices, and AC/DC motor control techniques.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for developing schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and PE Certification preferred.
