Facility Manager

Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000

This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the church’s physical infrastructure and the safety of its congregation. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the church’s facilities, including maintenance, cleanliness, security, and the implementation and completion of projects and/or repairs.

Job Responsibilities:

– Oversee the maintenance and repair of the church building, grounds, and equipment

– Coordinate, oversee, and negotiate with external contractors on general repairs and company contracts (landscaping, HVAC, janitorial, security systems, electrical, roofing, plumbing, painting)

– Ensure optimal functioning of all building systems and conduct annual inspections (mechanical, fire/safety, elevators)

– Work alongside ministries to maintain organized and clean general storage areas

– Manage HVAC system maintenance, repair, and thermostat scheduling based on ministry needs

– Assist in managing the Facilities and Building Budget with the Director of Operations

– Maintain all keys and key lists for the facility

– Help with leadership and safety training of volunteer teams at the Wilmington Campus

– Train staff on emergency response protocols, including fire safety and evacuation procedures

– Sunday-Thursday
