Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems including compressors, evaporators, condensers, motors, fans, and controls.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently and reliably.
- Inspect and test HVAC and refrigeration systems to diagnose issues using tools such as gauges, meters, and leak detectors.
- Recharge systems with refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and hours worked.
Qualifications:
- EPA 608 certification required.
- Proven experience as an HVAC/R technician (2+ years preferred).
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and refrigerant regulations.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience servicing cooking equipment a plus
