Licensed Residential HVAC Service & Sales Technician
Job Summary
If you’re a licensed HVAC Technician who enjoys educating homeowners, presenting solutions, and earning based on performance, this role is for you. We’re looking for a confident, customer-focused HVAC Service & Sales Technician to join our growing team. This is a service-to-sales role where your technical expertise directly drives your income and career growth.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and indoor air quality systems
- Perform comprehensive system inspections and identify repair, replacement, and upgrade opportunities
- Present clear, professional options to homeowners and help guide them to the best solutions for their comfort and budget
- Recommend and upsell system replacements, upgrades, maintenance plans, and air quality improvements
- Build trust with customers through strong communication, transparency, and exceptional service
- Use ServiceTitan (or similar software) to manage calls, create estimates, document work, and capture photos
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle
- Collaborate with dispatch and leadership to maximize efficiency, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
- Active HVAC license (as required by state/local regulations)
- 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience
- EPA Section 608 Certification (required)
- Strong in-home sales skills with the ability to present and close recommended work
- Proven ability to upsell repairs, replacements, and system upgrades
- Comfortable working in a performance-based, sales-driven environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities with attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable using tablets and field service software (ServiceTitan experience a plus)
- Professional, motivated, and results-driven mindset
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
