The Northeast Territory Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales and achieving sales targets within their assigned region. This position involves a multifaceted approach, encompassing product demonstrations, training, relationship building, and the development of innovative sales strategies. The primary focus is on engaging with contractors, nurturing warm leads, and fostering partnerships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will exhibit proficiency in technical and communication training, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a professional image. Persistent follow-up, participation in industry events, and staying up to date with product knowledge are essential for success in this role.
This position is responsible for managing all sales and sales-related activities within their assigned region (New Jersey / Pennsylvania) and for achieving agreed upon sales targets.
Activities shall include, but are not limited to product demonstrations and training, training and presentations to owners, general managers, technicians, and developing sales tools and project solutions.
- Cold calling on contractors in the region
- Calling upon warm leads developed through affiliate programs
- Developing relationships with owners, GMs, service and sales managers, front office staff, and warehouse managers
- Helping contractors develop a growth plan around IAQ
- Demonstrating proficiency in technical and communication training
- Tracking all activities
- Attending trade shows
- Presenting at trade shows and regional meetings hosted by affiliate groups
- Developing new training programs
- Riding along with technicians and installers
- Presenting on discovery phone calls
- Demonstrating great communication and follow-through skills
- Running contests and promotions
- Demonstrating strong knowledge about our products, technologies, and competitive products
- Consistently appearing professionally groomed and dressed
- Persistently following up: texting, calling, and emailing
- Leading online training
Qualifications and Experience:
- We are seeking a self-confident, self-starting, resourceful, assertive, and persuasive individual.
- We need a relationship builder, someone who can build loyalty with owners, general managers, service managers, and technicians.
- Candidate should demonstrate influential sales skills and possess the drive and discipline to accomplish goals on a weekly basis.

- Candidate must be coachable! Our team is always learning with ongoing technical and communication training.
- Previous sales experience is a plus, but you may qualify based on a strong desire to be the BEST! You will be training your accounts on how and when to present IAQ on every call.
- Requires reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Must be credit worthy to handle monthly expenses on a personal credit card prior to monthly reimbursement.
- Must be willing and able to handle and plan for an extensive travel schedule (MININUM 80%, 4 to 5 days/week, 4 of 5 weeks/month)
- Proficient in or willing to quickly learn the following software programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Dynamics 356, Map My Customer, MS Teams
