We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Silversmith Apprentice to join our team, start in the shop, and grow into a specialized role within our company.

Job Summary:
As a Silversmith Apprentice, you will learn the intricate craft of silversmithing while assisting in the production of trophies, awards, and custom gifts. The apprenticeship offers training in three main specialties: polishing, torch soldering, and spinning. Apprentices typically begin with general shop tasks before specializing based on company needs and personal strengths. This is a long-term opportunity for someone eager to build a career in the trade and become an expert in one of these essential skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various shop tasks, including engraving, casting, assembly, and general production work.

  • Learn and develop skills in polishing, torch soldering, and spinning under the guidance of experienced artisans.

  • Follow shop safety protocols and maintain an organized, clean work environment.

  • Use hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.

  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet production goals and quality standards.

  • Adapt and take on additional responsibilities as skills progress.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • General workshop knowledge, including familiarity with hand tools and machine safety.

  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

  • Basic computer skills for production tracking and design reference.

  • Ability to stay organized and follow shop etiquette.
