    Job Title: Owner-Operator – Long Haul Transport
    Location: East Coast (NY to FL, with stops in between)

    Are you an experienced owner-operator looking for a reliable and rewarding transport partnership? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join us in hauling food products along the East Coast. This is not a W-2 position—you’ll maintain your independence while partnering with an award-winning company recognized for excellence in the industry.

    What We’re Looking For:

    Owner-Operator with Food Hauling Experience (Refrigeration trailer experience is a plus!)
    Valid CDL-A License with a clean driving record

    Ability to Handle Long-Haul Trips & Occasional Wait Times

    Your Responsibilities:

    Transport food products safely and efficiently
    Ensure proper handling and temperature control of shipments
    Maintain accurate logs and comply with all DOT regulations
    Conduct routine truck inspections and maintenance

    Responsibilities:

    • Read mechanical schematics and perform basic mechanical troubleshooting
    • Read mechanical and machinist blueprints, and precision measuring instruments, then document findings on appropriate paperwork
    • Perform mechanical and welding type duties on an as needed basis and meet all requirements such as welding specs, rigging, assembling cranes
    • Troubleshoot all sizes and types of cranes and mechanically determine problems and take corrective action
    • Provide Service Manager with accurate and complete information on mechanical machinery in order to install/replace/order replacement parts
    • Complete documentation with relevant information required to generate reports to be forwarded to the engineering or production departments, or to the customer. Use of digital camera and docking station required

    Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years crane technician experience OR mechanical / industrial electrical experience
    • Ability to complete required nuclear site access
    • Basic knowledge of machinery and tools including their design, uses, repairs and maintenance
    • Experience with motors and gear boxes
    • Experience with 3 phase motor controls
    • PLCs up to 480v
