Plumbing Operations Manager – Commercial Service
We’re a growing commercial plumbing service company operating across three markets. This role leads day-to-day commercial service operations including contract service, preventative maintenance, and complex commercial service work. This is a hands-on operator role, not a strategy-only position.
What You’ll Do
• Lead commercial service operations across multiple markets
• Own execution across field teams, dispatch, and call center
• Full P&L ownership ($10M–$50M commercial services business)
• Improve gross margin, labor productivity, and EBITDA
• Control labor costs, overtime, and technician utilization
• Enforce commercial pricing, service agreements, and upsell standards
• Reduce callbacks, warranty work, and SLA failures
• Improve cash flow, billing cycles, and working capital
• Run a disciplined weekly operating cadence with accountability
Commercial Metrics You’ll Own
• Revenue per commercial technician
• Labor utilization and productivity
• Gross margin and contribution margin
• Callbacks, warranty, and SLA compliance
• Dispatch efficiency and response times
Required Experience
• Leadership of a commercial plumbing service operation
• Strong service background — not construction-only
• Multi-market or multi-branch commercial operations experience
• Proven success improving margins, productivity, or execution
• Hands-on field leadership mindset
