    Forklift Mechanic –
    Linthicum Heights, MD | Full-Time | Monday–Friday

    $40-$45 Hourly

    Your Day-to-Day

    • Diagnose and conquer complex repairs on electric, LPG, and diesel forklifts
    • Master hydraulics, electrics, transmissions, and drive systems
    • Perform OSHA-compliant PMs and inspections
    • Mentor younger techs and run your own service calls when you’re ready

    What You Bring

    • Proven, hands-on forklift or heavy equipment experience
    • Certifications in forklift or heavy equipment repair
    • Strong understanding of hydraulics, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems and schematic-reading skills
    • Clean driving record and professional demeanor
    • Your own professional tools

    If you have a technical, industrial or manufacturing sales background here’s an opportunity to join a 55-year-old firm that’s a leader in process heating systems and controls. Our client is looking for a Field Sales Consultant that can help them build upon and grow an established territory and at the same time become an integral part of the firm. This firm has a very low turnover rate thus joining this firm can turn into a career. Aside from the responsibilities listed below, a key attribute our client is looking for is an individual that can build rapport, identify a customer(s) problem and explain solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    Build on current customers and add new customers

    Promote new, innovative products to new and existing customers

    Provide a consultative approach to diagnosing and troubleshooting with customers

    Establish and maintain industry contacts within territory

    Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends that help with sales opportunities and revenue generation

     

    A Successful Candidate Would Have the Following Background:

    3+ years of successful consultative sales experience selling to manufacturers in various industries (i.e., plastics, food processing, metal fabrication, etc.)

    Experience with selling Electric Heaters, Sensors and Controls

    Understands and practices a consultative sales approach

    Enjoy building relationships and explaining solutions and or troubleshooting
