Terminal Manager – Burlington, NJ
Compensation: $75,000 – $95,000 annually (based on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Terminal Manager to lead and oversee all operations at our Burlington, NJ terminal. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader and operational problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of drivers and terminal staff to ensure alignment with company goals and values.

Foster a positive, collaborative, and safety-first work environment.

Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training for terminal employees.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and support.

Promote professionalism, integrity, and operational excellence in every interaction.
Operational Management

Oversee daily driver scheduling, truck assignments, and warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Partner with cross-docking teams and routing managers to streamline daily operations and maximize route efficiency.

Maintain facility cleanliness, organization, and safety at all times.

Coordinate maintenance and repairs with the Fleet and Equipment Manager to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with other terminals to ensure consistent customer service and coverage during emergencies.
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations across all operations.

Proactively identify and address safety or operational risks.

Lead monthly driver safety meetings to promote awareness and continuous improvement.

Maintain accurate documentation for inspections, maintenance, and compliance.
What You Bring

5+ years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or distribution management.

Proven ability to manage teams in a high-volume, safety-sensitive environment.

Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA compliance standards.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software (routing/scheduling systems preferred).

CDL license preferred but not required.
