The Plant Health Care Program Director, Sales Arborist, is responsible for promoting and selling tree care services and products through various channels, including in-person visits, phone calls, and online interactions. This role combines arboriculture expertise with strong sales abilities to educate clients, develop customized care plans, and support revenue growth.
Primary Responsibilities

Client Consultations & Sales: Visit residential properties to evaluate tree health, diagnose issues, and recommend appropriate solutions or services.

Customer Education: Inform clients about the importance of proper tree care, long-term maintenance strategies, and environmentally sustainable practices.

Lead Development: Build relationships with homeowners through referrals, networking, and involvement in community events.

Client Engagement: Maintain consistent communication throughout the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about current trends, regulations, and best practices in arboriculture, plant health care, and pest management.
Requirements

ISA Certified Arborist certification (or ability to obtain within three months).

Minimum of 3 years of experience in tree care consulting, sales, or related tree work.

Comprehensive understanding of tree biology, pruning methods, pest/disease control, and risk evaluation.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.

Self-motivated with the ability to manage leads, follow-ups, and close sales independently.

Valid driver’s license required.
