  • Adams Outdoor – Sales Assistant

    Overview:

    Join one of the largest and most dynamic Outdoor Advertising companies in the U.S.! We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our high-energy sales team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving success by preparing compelling sales proposals, tracking and analyzing performance metrics, managing inventory reports, and serving as a professional point of contact for clients.     Essential Functions of Position Include:

    • Distributes all sales related information.
    • Creates outgoing proposals and presentations.
    • Compiles information for Account Executives.
    • Compiles insertion orders and folders when needed.
    • Compiles weekly projection numbers for sales management of the market.
    • Performs weekly update of inventory of all reports on Inventory Management System
    • Acts as assistant to the Sales Manager and at times the General Manager of the market.
    • Answers incoming calls as a company representative.
    • Prepares advertising and media kits.
    • Updates prospect kits.
    • Conducts research on current and potential clients as well as market trends.
    • Acts as a liaison between clients, Account Executives and various departments.
    • Develops inventory maps to aid in the selling process.
    • Distributes and updates internal and external marketing materials.
    • Sends proof of performance pictures and reports to clients.
    • Attends weekly sales meetings.
    • May work with the Regional Business Manager on accounts receivables.
    • Performs other functions that may be assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 1-2 years general office/administrative/clerical experience.
    • Interest and enthusiasm for the advertising industry.
    • Knowledge of basic advertising functions and terms.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Multi-tasking capabilities.
    • Excellent data entry and computer skills.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Compensation: $22.00 per hour plus bonus

    Overview

    We are one of the largest Outdoor Advertising companies in the U.S. We are seeking a Billboard Installer to join our dynamic team. As an Installer, you will be responsible for installing billboard posters and all illumination and digital display issues on billboard structures, including performing maintenance on the physical structures and surrounding properties throughout the Charlotte market. No prior experience Outdoor Advertising experience is required and training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have a construction and/or electrical background, the ability to climb without restrictions up to 125 feet, the ability to work from elevated platforms, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while observing all safety procedures, strong communication skills, and a clean background and driving record.

    Essential Functions of Position Include:

    • The ability to climb without restrictions fixed, portable and/or extension ladders to heights up to 125 feet multiple times daily.
    • The ability to work from elevated platforms up to 125 feet in height for up to 70% of the workday.
    • Must be able to lift weight up to 100 lbs. without restrictions or limitations through demonstrated safe lifting practices.
    • Working knowledge of or ability to learn the proper use of an oxygen/acetylene torch.
    • Working knowledge of or ability to learn the proper use of an AC/DC welder.
    • Must be able to safely operate or have the ability to learn to operate gas-powered equipment, such as lawn mowers, chain saws, generators, compressors, paint sprayers, etc.
    • Is required to possess a valid driver’s license in order to operate company vehicles.
    • Utilize all safety related equipment without exception as mandated by the company’s operating procedures.
    • Understanding and possession of basic mathematics skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
    • Must have a full range of motion in order to install and maintain posters and bulletin signage.
    • Meet maximum weight restrictions of 265 pounds due to manufacturer requirements on safety related equipment used to work in elevate work environment.
    • The ability to work in all weather conditions when necessary.
    • The ability to tolerate the risk of expose associated with an outdoor environment.
    • Comply and adhere to all company policies, procedures and guidelines without exception.
    • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • High School or equivalent degree.
    • A valid driver’s license.
    • Clean background and driving record with ability to pass drug test.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with the external clients and the internal client at all levels of personnel.
    • Highly adaptable to changing work environments.
    • Must be able to travel as required.
    • Must prioritize and execute tasks and assignments.
    • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
