  • HVAC General Manager

    Job Title: General Manager (Home Services)
    Location: Charlottesville, VA (Relocation package available for the right candidate)
    Compensation: $125,000 to $150,000 Base Salary + Lucrative Quarterly and Annual Bonus Plan

    About the Role Our client is looking for an elite, performance driven General Manager to take full operational responsibility for their Charlottesville branch. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President of Operations, you will be the driving force behind the branch’s financial success, operational efficiency, and team culture. We need a “Results Oriented” leader who understands how to drive the P&L through critical operating metrics, scale standardized processes, and build a destination shop for top tier talent.

    Key Responsibilities

    • P&L Ownership: Drive financial (sales and EBITDA), operational, and quality metrics to ensure the branch achieves all performance targets.
    • Operational Excellence: Maintain and execute daily, weekly, and long term work plans to implement efficient workflows and enhance branch KPIs.
    • Change Management: Lead change management strategies to scale the business and accommodate both organic growth and tuck in acquisitions.
    • Financial Forecasting: Prepare business forecasts, budgets, and conduct financial analysis to identify trends and take immediate action based on findings.
    • Team Leadership: Motivate, coach, develop, and inspire a unified team. Build a strong followership and hold the team to a high standard of accountability.
    • Culture & Safety: Uphold core company values by fostering a safe, accident free environment that promotes diversity, inclusion, and respect.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 8 years of experience successfully leading a fast paced service organization with a proven track record of growing a business.
    • Residential HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical management experience is highly preferred.
    • Deep financial acumen with an excellent analytical ability to analyze cost and forecast data.
    • A keen “Eye for Talent” with the ability to recruit, develop, and motivate top performing technicians and office staff.
    • Exceptional executive presence, interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to act as a self starter in a fast paced market.

    A Successful Candidate Would Have the Following Background:

    3+ years of successful consultative sales experience selling to manufacturers in various industries (i.e., plastics, food processing, metal fabrication, etc.)

    Experience with selling Electric Heaters, Sensors and Controls

    Understands and practices a consultative sales approach

    Enjoy building relationships and explaining solutions and or troubleshooting
