Service Technician – Generator Pros 
Location: Cuyahoga County and West Medina County – Cleveland, Ohio
Compensation: $25–$40/hr + Annual Bonuses
Benefits: Health Insurance, IRA, PTO
Schedule: Monday–Friday + On-Call Rotation (1 week/month)

Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Service Technician with strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting ability. In this role, you will service, diagnose, and repair standby generators — primarily in residential settings (80%), along with some commercial (10%) and industrial (10%) work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair generator systems and components (electrical & mechanical)

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on standby power equipment

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals

• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot on-site issues

• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records

• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally

• Participate in on-call rotation (1 week per month for 24/7 emergency support)

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on service experience (mechanical/electrical preferred)

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot independently

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical schematics

• Familiarity working with electrical and mechanical systems

• Must have your own basic hand tools (annual $200 tool allowance provided)

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Generator service experience a plus, but not required — willing to train the right person
