Machine Maintenance

POSITION SUMMARY

Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment which includes preventive maintenance and also perform some duties of building maintenance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Installation of machinery, preventive maintenance, and repair of all automated machinery within the facility to insure they are running at optimum mechanical efficiency, create maintenance logs, training operator maintenance.
• Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished for quick repair of machines.
• Perform some of the building maintenance duties when necessary.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work required overtime to support manufacturing needs and requests from our customers.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office format to be able to adapt to other programs used for this position.

Education & Experience: High School / GED with two to four years of related experience approved by management.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies and equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Test electronic units using standard test equipment and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment
• Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, DMM, Huntron component analyzer and Function Generators
• Reassemble and test product after repairs
• Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering / manufacturing instructions for assembling, testing and repairing electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components
• Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment and to record repairs necessary to units
• Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components according to IPC Standards

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Good computer skills with working knowledge of Windows format
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs and stand and/or sit for long periods of time
• Ability to work required overtime to support manufacturing needs and requests from our customers
• Train and assist test personnel when necessary
• Ability to professionally communicate issues with customers
