Crew Lead – Landscaping & Lawn Care
Location: Eden Prairie, MN
Salary: $55,000 to $70,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications) Benefits: Health and dental insurance, paid time off (PTO), and opportunities to grow with a dedicated team.
Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, loves transforming outdoor spaces, and knows how to get the best out of a crew? We are looking for a Crew Lead to take charge of daily routes, guide a hardworking team, and deliver top-quality landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal services every single day.
This is not a desk job. You will be rolling up your sleeves, working side-by-side with your crew while leading by example, coaching team members, and keeping every project on track for safety, efficiency, and excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Run daily routes and manage a crew to complete jobs safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
- Lead, motivate, and coach team members in the field to boost performance and maintain strong quality.
- Use landscaping operations analytics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and optimize schedules/routes to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure attention to detail in every task from mowing and trimming to planting, mulching, and snow removal.
- Drive work trucks, tow trailers, load/unload equipment, and perform hands-on landscaping work daily.
- Uphold safety protocols and professional standards on every job site.
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience in landscaping, lawn care, and/or snow removal.
- Proven ability to lead a crew, keep jobs moving, and solve problems on the go.
- Strong understanding of KPIs, operations analytics, and schedule/route optimization to drive results.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Reliable and punctual. Ready to show up and lead every day.
- Valid driver’s license (comfort towing trailers and driving work trucks preferred).
- Physically capable of hands-on work, including lifting 50+ lbs regularly.
- Fluent in English. Spanish language skills are a big plus and highly valued!
