Job Title: General Manager – HVAC & Plumbing

Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 base salary + performance-based bonuses

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and grow our HVAC and Plumbing operations in Gainesville, FL. This role requires a strong leader with a business-driven mindset, who can oversee daily operations, drive revenue growth, and ensure top-tier customer service. The General Manager will be responsible for managing technicians, office staff, budgets, and strategic initiatives to enhance profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations for both HVAC and plumbing divisions, ensuring quality service and efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategic growth plans to increase revenue and market share.
• Manage P&L, budgeting, and financial performance, ensuring profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of technicians, office staff, and managers.
• Implement and enforce safety, compliance, and industry regulations.
• Streamline dispatching, scheduling, and customer service operations for maximum efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive business development initiatives.
• Optimize operational processes using CRM and business management software.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or a related service-based industry.
• 3+ years of leadership experience, managing teams and business operations.
• Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and P&L oversight.
• Proven ability to recruit, train, and retain top talent.
• Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices.
• Proficiency in business management software, CRM systems, and scheduling tools.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
