We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Professional to join our team in Harrisonville, MO. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tax preparation and a strong proficiency in using CCH (Wolters Kluwar) tax preparation software. We have been serving our clients in Missouri and Kansas for more than 50 years. We are looking for a strong teammate that shares our passion for client service and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare and review individual and business tax returns using CCH (Wolters Kluwer) software.
– Conduct tax research and stay updated on tax regulations and compliance requirements.
– Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
– Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the preparation of all tax documents.
– Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and explain tax-related matters.
– Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Tax Professional.
– Proficiency in CCH (Wolters Kluwer) tax preparation software.
– Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
– Willingness and ability to utilize provided company processes and procedures.
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
– Self-motivated, proven ability to work autonomously.
Education and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
– CPA or EA certification preferred.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation.
