We are currently accepting applications for an instructor to start in July 2025 (Fall Semester) within the Aviation Maintenance program. This is a full-time, 9-month annual contract, exempt, and benefit-eligible instructor position. Temporary housing may be available on request.
Required Qualifications:
FAA airframe and powerplant aircraft mechanic certificates.
Five years A&P work experience, including various operations such as Part 91, 135, and/or 145. E
Bachelor’s degree or the willingness to earn one
Excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching/training experience
Five or more years of related work experience in one or more of the following areas:
Aviation Mathematics
Physics,
Weight and Balance
Powerplant fuel systems
Job Responsibilities:
This position would instruct and develop courses that may include the following topics: Aircraft Fluid Power Systems, Airframe Fuel, Water, and Waste Systems, Turbine Engines and Accessory Systems and Airframe Systems and Inspections.
Student advising is also a key responsibility.
