Big Bend Automotive is looking to add an experienced Senior Automotive Technician to our team in Maplewood, MO. We are looking for a skilled technician who can diagnose and repair vehicles independently and has the certifications and experience to get the job done right.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair automotive mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform engine repairs and engine performance diagnostics ● Diagnose and repair brake systems
- Diagnose and repair suspension and steering systems ● Troubleshoot automotive electrical systems
- Accurately identify vehicle problems and determine appropriate repairs ● Complete repairs efficiently and correctly
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide quality workmanship on every vehicle
Qualifications:
- ASE Certified in all 5 of the following areas:
○ Suspension & Steering
○ Engine Repair
○ Engine Performance
○ Brakes
○ Electrical/Electrical Systems
- Strong automotive diagnostic and repair experience
- Ability to work independently
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Candidates within approximately 20 miles / 45 minutes of Maplewood preferred
