Lead Electrician (Master Licensed)
Location: Western Suburbs of Minneapolis, MN

Position Summary
We’re looking for a Lead Electrician who is ready to take on a foundational role within our company. This is a dual opportunity—to serve customers directly in the field while playing a critical part in building our team from the ground up.
As our Master Licensed Electrician, you’ll lead installations, repairs, and troubleshooting for residential and light commercial clients. You will also serve as our Responsible Master Electrician (RME), ensuring all work is up to code and in compliance with state and local regulations. Over time, this position is expected to evolve into a leadership role with responsibilities in hiring, training, and mentoring additional electricians as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

Perform residential and light commercial electrical service work—troubleshooting, installations, upgrades, and repairs

Represent the brand with professionalism, technical expertise, and outstanding customer service

Act as the Responsible Master Electrician (RME), ensuring compliance with NEC, Minnesota state, and local codes

Manage all permits, inspections, and ensure proper documentation on each job

Work closely with ownership to optimize processes, job flow, and customer satisfaction

Help recruit, mentor, and manage future journeyman and apprentice electricians as the business grows

Promote a safety-first culture and continuously improve performance and service standards

Embrace and utilize technology tools and systems to streamline operations and communications
Qualifications

Active Minnesota Master Electrician License (required)

Willingness to serve as the Responsible License Holder

Minimum 5 years of residential and/or light commercial electrical experience

Strong knowledge of Minnesota codes and permitting procedures

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

Ability to manage projects independently and follow through from start to finish

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay: $45–$60/hr, based on experience and credentials

Overtime Pay: Time-and-a-half for hours worked beyond 40/week
