    HVAC Sales Comfort Consultant

    Department: HVAC Sales
    Location: Ocean City, NJ
    Schedule: Flexible based on customer demand and seasonality (Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
    Target Compensation: $100,000 – $175,000+ (Salary + Commission + SPIFFs + Benefits)

    Position Overview

    The HVAC Sales Comfort Consultant is responsible for selling residential and light commercial HVAC systems and services in a professional, consultative manner. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience while generating profitable revenue for the company.

    You will represent the company in customers’ homes and businesses, educate clients on system options, and guide them confidently through the buying process.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Generate new HVAC system sales while maintaining company standards

    • Present proposals in-home or within 24 hours of inquiry

    • Educate customers on equipment options, high-efficiency systems, financing, and promotions

    • Manage sales pipeline and follow up consistently with open leads

    • Accurately complete all sales documentation and communicate job details to operations

    • Attend weekly sales meetings and ongoing training

    • Represent the company at community or networking events as needed

    Performance Expectations

    • Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals

    • Achieve high-efficiency equipment sales targets

    • Maintain strong closing ratios

    • Ensure accurate documentation and high customer satisfaction

    Required Qualifications

    • 2+ years of consultative sales experience (preferred HVAC)

    • Comfortable working directly with consumers in-home

    • Proficient with technology and CRM systems

    • Valid driver’s license

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 5+ years of HVAC sales or in-home sales experience

    • Goal-oriented and self-motivated

    • Strong communication and organizational skills

    • Professional appearance and strong customer service mindset

    Physical Requirements

    • Inspect homes including attics and crawlspaces

    • Lift up to 30 lbs as needed

    • Work in varying weather conditions and confined spaces

    Base Salary

    • $52,000 annually ($1,000/week)

    Sales Manager

    Location: Ocean City, New Jersey
    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Some evenings/weekends as needed)
    Target Compensation: $125,000 – $200,000+ (Salary + Bonus + Benefits)


    Position Overview

    The Sales Manager leads the company’s sales and marketing efforts to ensure consistent revenue growth, strong customer satisfaction, and disciplined sales execution. This role oversees incoming leads, referral sources, and builder/GC house accounts while driving the team to meet or exceed monthly revenue goals.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Sales team meets or exceeds revenue targets

    • Compliance with company sales policies and processes

    • Increased self-generated leads

    • Customer satisfaction above 95%

    • Weekly Lead & Sales Report delivered to Owner by Monday at 10 AM


    Core Responsibilities

    Sales Leadership

    • Establish and manage sales goals and budgets

    • Track daily sales vs. budget

    • Prepare weekly/monthly sales and lead reports

    • Conduct weekly sales meetings

    • Coach team through appointment debriefs

    • Approve pricing and assist in closing jobs

    • Monitor leads, pending quotes, and financing offers

    • Drive high-efficiency product sales

    Team & Operations Oversight

    • Supervise all selling activities

    • Ensure compliance with sales process and presentation standards

    • Maintain updated marketing materials

    • Support scheduling/dispatch as needed

    • Increase referral and repeat business

    • Grow builder and general contractor accounts annually

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of sales or management experience in a service industry (HVAC)

    • Strong leadership and communication skills

    • Organized, accountable, and data-driven

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Industry experience preferred but not required

    Compensation & Benefits

    Base Salary

    • $78,000 annually ($1,500/week)

    Quarterly Bonus Program

    • 5% of Department Net Income over salary

    • 2% of growth over prior year sales
