    MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN TECHNICIAN

    Oldsmar, FL

    Compensation:

    $33-35/hr (based on experience) + shift premium

    REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager

    CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

    WORK STATUS: Full-Time

    Are You the Right Fit?

    • You have a minimum of 3 years of electrical experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military setting.
    • You’re familiar with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or similar programs.
    • You possess a strong understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC) and can work with medium and high voltage (480V+) systems.
    • You have experience with AC/DC motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
    • You can confidently read electrical schematics, including single line diagrams and ladder logic.

     

    Bonus points if you have:

    • Experience in a Corrugated Box Plant or the Paper Industry.
    • A knack for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing various electrical equipment.
    • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and operator interfaces.
    • Knowledge of power distribution infrastructure.
    • Journeyman electrician license and/or experience in a manufacturing environment.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Perform electrical maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.
    • Repair and maintain electrical equipment to ensure optimal plant operation.
    • Read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting and installation purposes.
    • Prioritize safety by adhering to strict guidelines and actively participating in the safety program.
    • Conduct preventative, corrective, and unplanned maintenance tasks.

    Collaborate with the team to keep production running smoothly.
