Take the Lead. Deliver Exceptional Work. Help Build the Future.

We are hiring an experienced Lead Glazier with an active California C-17 Glazing Contractor License to oversee high-end residential glass installations and help support our expansion into commercial projects.

This is more than a traditional field position. You will serve as the company’s licensed qualifier, lead installation quality and safety, mentor team members, and play an important role in shaping the growth of the business.

For the right person, this position offers a clear path toward Field Operations Manager or General Manager leadership.

    Why You’ll Love This Opportunity

    • Lead high-end, detail-focused residential projects

    • Help build and shape a growing commercial division

    • Serve as a trusted leader within the business

    • Receive a company vehicle, tools, and equipment

    • Grow into a senior field operations or management role

    What You’ll Do

    Lead High-End Residential Installations

Residential work will be the primary focus of this role. You will lead installations involving:

    • Frameless shower enclosures

    • Custom mirrors

    • Glass railings

    • Interior glass partitions

You will ensure every project is measured accurately, installed cleanly, and completed to the highest standards. You will take ownership of job quality from start to finish, with a strong focus on craftsmanship, presentation, and minimizing callbacks.

Please note: We do not install windows or doors.

    Support Commercial Growth

As the company expands, you will help support select light commercial glazing projects by:

    • Applying high-end residential craftsmanship to commercial work

    • Providing input on materials, processes, planning, and execution

    • Helping develop repeatable field standards as project volume grows

    • Supporting the transition into larger and more complex projects

Serve as the License Holder and Compliance Leader

You will serve as the company’s C-17 license holder of record, which is a required responsibility of this position.

    You will also:

    • Ensure work complies with California building codes

    • Maintain high safety and quality standards

    • Lead jobsite safety practices

    • Support compliance with OSHA requirements

    • Help establish consistent installation and field procedures

    Lead Field Operations

    • Lead and mentor junior glaziers and installers

    • Assist with field measurements, layouts, estimating, and project planning

    • Read plans and identify project requirements

    • Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and designers

    • Help coordinate scheduling, materials, crews, and job flow

    • Solve installation challenges independently in the field

    • Remain hands-on while leading the team by example

    What We’re Looking For

    Required Qualifications

    • Active California C-17 Glazing Contractor License

    • Proven experience leading residential glazing installations

    • Strong experience with high-end, custom glass projects

    • Interest in helping the company expand into commercial glazing

    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

    Preferred Experience

    • Frameless shower systems

    • Custom mirror installation

    • Glass railings

    • Interior glass partitions

    • Precise field measuring and layout

    • Reading plans and specifications

    • Leading crews and training junior installers

    • Estimating and project planning

    Who You Are

You are a licensed glazing professional who takes full ownership of your work. You care about quality, accuracy, and delivering a finished product that looks exceptional.

    You are also:

    • A hands-on leader who sets the standard for others

    • Detail-oriented and committed to clean workmanship

    • Comfortable holding yourself and your team accountable

    • Professional when communicating with customers and contractors

    • Adaptable, resourceful, and able to solve problems in the field

    • Motivated by the opportunity to help grow a business

    • Interested in advancing into operations or senior leadership

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Competitive compensation based on experience and license-holder responsibilities

    • Company vehicle provided

    • Tools and equipment provided

    • Health benefits, paid time off, and paid holidays

    • Career advancement into field operations or general management

If you are an experienced, licensed glazier who wants to lead high-quality projects and help build the next stage of a growing company, we encourage you to apply.
