    Mailing Operator

    Location: Plymouth, MI
    Compensation: Competitive Pay, DOE

    Full-Time, Permanent Position

    Are you experienced in mail processing, machine operation, and keeping production moving efficiently? We’re looking for a detail-oriented Mailing Operator who takes pride in accuracy, quality, and meeting deadlines.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable team where your experience operating mailing equipment and managing high-volume mail processing will be valued.

    What You’ll Do

    • Operate mailing equipment including inserters, postage meters, sorting machines, and related production equipment
    • Prepare, process, and distribute outgoing mail and packages accurately and efficiently
    • Monitor workflow to ensure production schedules and mailing deadlines are met
    • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic machine maintenance as needed
    • Verify addresses, postage, and mail sorting accuracy to maintain quality standards
    • Coordinate with internal teams on bulk mailings and special distribution projects
    • Maintain compliance with postal regulations and company procedures
    • Keep work areas organized, safe, and production-ready

    What We’re Looking For

    • 4+ years of experience in mailing operations, mail processing, print production, fulfillment, or a similar production environment
    • Experience operating mailing, inserting, sorting, or postage equipment
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
    • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
    • High school diploma or equivalent

    Preferred Experience

    • High-volume mailing, fulfillment, print shop, or distribution center experience
    • Familiarity with USPS mailing requirements and postal regulations
    • Experience performing minor equipment maintenance and adjustments

    • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
    • Maintain a safe and organized work environment

    Equipment Experience 

    Experience with any of the following equipment:

    • MBO Pile Feed Folders
    • MBO Continuous Feed Folders
    • Stahl Continuous Feed Folders
    • Muller Martini Saddle Stitchers
    • Polar Cutters
    • Heidelberg Cylinder Die Cutters

    What We’re Looking For

    • 3+ years commercial bindery experience
    • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
    • Ability to work efficiently in a production environment
    • Dependable with a strong work ethic
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
