Mailing Operator

Are you experienced in mail processing, machine operation, and keeping production moving efficiently? We’re looking for a detail-oriented Mailing Operator who takes pride in accuracy, quality, and meeting deadlines.

What You’ll Do
- Operate mailing equipment including inserters, postage meters, sorting machines, and related production equipment
- Prepare, process, and distribute outgoing mail and packages accurately and efficiently
- Monitor workflow to ensure production schedules and mailing deadlines are met
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic machine maintenance as needed
- Verify addresses, postage, and mail sorting accuracy to maintain quality standards
- Coordinate with internal teams on bulk mailings and special distribution projects
- Maintain compliance with postal regulations and company procedures
- Keep work areas organized, safe, and production-ready
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in mailing operations, mail processing, print production, fulfillment, or a similar production environment
- Experience operating mailing, inserting, sorting, or postage equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience
- High-volume mailing, fulfillment, print shop, or distribution center experience
- Familiarity with USPS mailing requirements and postal regulations
- Experience performing minor equipment maintenance and adjustments
