    Key Responsibilities (What We Actually Do Every Day):

    • Accurately measure interior and exterior windows/openings

    • Handle repairs, tweaks, and maintenance on existing systems
    • Safely load/unload materials and tools at sites

    What We’re Looking For:

    • 3+ years of proven professional experience installing both interior (plantation-style) and exterior shutters (wood, composite, etc.)
    • Solid carpentry/mechanical skills and comfort with hand/power tools
    • Ability to read plans/blueprints and work precisely from measurements
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (must be comfortable navigating the Richmond area)
    • Strong customer service skills—homeowners trust you in their space

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems including compressors, evaporators, condensers, motors, fans, and controls.
    • Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently and reliably.
    • Inspect and test HVAC and refrigeration systems to diagnose issues using tools such as gauges, meters, and leak detectors.
    • Recharge systems with refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations.
    • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
    • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and hours worked.
    Qualifications:
     
    • EPA 608 certification required.
    • Proven experience as an HVAC/R technician (2+ years preferred).
    • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and refrigerant regulations.

    Job Description:
    We are seeking four Fiber Underground Technicians in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of drop and bury fiber optic cable installation and proficient with hand tools and digging equipment.

    Veteran based/owned/operated organization that is focused on engagement, education, and long-term career paths for transitioning military and under employed veterans in the infrastructure industry. Fast, fun, flexible learning environment with veteran mentorship and teamwork.

    Responsibilities include:
    – Installing, maintaining, and repairing underground fiber optic cables.
    – Performing drop and bury installations.
    – Operating and maintaining hand tools and digging equipment.

    – Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
    – Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently.

    Requirements:
