Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to support commercial and industrial projects only. This role requires a licensed professional who can independently diagnose, repair, install, and maintain complex refrigeration and HVAC systems in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, troubleshoot, and install commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
- Work on RTUs, boilers, VRF systems, heat pumps, split systems, and related equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Ensure all work complies with Massachusetts state regulations and federal safety standards
- Communicate clearly with project managers, customers, and team members Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician (RT) Journeyman License
- o License must be active and verifiable through the Massachusetts Department of Labor
- EPA 608 Certification (required by state and federal law)
- OSHA-10 Certification
- Hot Work Certification
- OSHA Silica Certification
- Proven experience in commercial and industrial environments only
- Ability to independently repair, fix, and install refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the service area
